Discover Panama (8 Days/7 Nights) Panama City, Soberania National Park, Isla Grande (Saturday to Saturday)

Day 4 - Soberania National Park - Wake up early to the sights and sounds of the rainforest and a spectacular tour of Lake Gatun. A trained, bilingual naturalist guide will take you to the resort's private marina where you'll board a waiting boat for your tour. Lake Gatun was formed as a result of the damming of the Chagres River during the construction of the Panama Canal. You and your interpretive guide will slowly cruise the back channels, islands and bays that make up this unique ecosystem where you'll see many of the wildlife residents of the area in their natural habitat. After returning from your tour, stroll around the resort's spacious grounds or relax by the swimming pool. Overnight at the resort. (Meals Included - Breakfast).
Day 5 - Rainforest Canopy Tour / Caribbean Coast - A highlight for any visitor to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort is a ride on their spectacular Aerial Tram Canopy Tour. Beginning on the forest floor, you'll guide silently up and into the rainforest canopy where you'll encounter species of flora and fauna rarely seen by visitors on the ground. An interpretive guide will point out the species of plants, birds, and animals hidden in the lush forest while you enjoy a birds-eye view of the Soberania National Park. After leaving the tram, you'll visit the resort's extensive exhibit area where you'll find a freshwater fish aquarium, reptile exhibit, a butterfly aviary, a model Embera Indian village and an orchid farm boasting over 100 species of this beautiful flower. Checkout is in the early afternoon. Later, you travel by motor coach to the Caribbean coast along a scenic stretch of highway surrounded by lush vegetation arriving at the sleepy village of La Guaira. Here you'll meet a waiting boat for your short trip to Isla Grande and the Bananas Village Resort. This intimate, yet modern resort is located on a beautiful white sand beach overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. After checking into your air-conditioned bungalow, take a stroll along the beach, relax by the pool or sip one of the best Piña Coladas you've ever tasted while watching a spectacular sunset. (Meals Included - Breakfast & Dinner)
Day 6 - Sun, Sand and Tropical Paradise - Wake up at your leisure and enjoy the tropical sun, warm seas and cool trade winds. Take time to explore the beach, kayak, snorkel or just relax by the pool. More adventurous guest will want to check out the diving or sport fishing opportunities found nearby (extra charges apply). (Meals Included - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)
