Tusipono Embera Indian Village Tour

Immerse yourself in the unique native traditions of a remote Embera Indian village, deep in the heart of the rainforest, when you join this incredible air tour.  Your adventure begins when you are met dockside by an experienced bilingual guide and escorted to a waiting helicopter.  On the way to this isolated settlement you will get a “bird’s eye” view of the Panama Canal before flying over some of the most magnificent rainforest on earth.  Your private jet-powered helicopter will land at the village, surrounded by lush jungle, and will be greeted by the traditional music of this fascinating culture.  After experiencing several unique ceremonial dances (interpreted by your guide), you will learn more about the customary lifestyle of a people virtually unchanged by civilization.  The local “shaman” will describe some of the medicinal plants and herbs found in this spectacular environment, many of which are still a vital part of everyday life.  Finally, you will have the rare opportunity to purchase finely crafted artifacts made by these skilled artisans.  The helicopter ride back to your ship gives you another chance to soak in the sights of the rainforest from a perspective unavailable from the ground.  The intimate tour size gives you a very personalized experience.
